Katy Perry Beats Taylor Swift In Forbes 2015 List Of World’s Highest Paid Music Artists

Katy Perry has made 126 concerts in 27 countries, earning $135 million or approximately $4 million per city where she had performed in. All these numbers add up to being a top contender for the No. 1 spot on Forbes' World's Highest Paid Musicians 2015, an E! Online article revealed.

This could also mean that the 31-year-old singer beat Taylor Swift for the spot! There are also reports that Perry tops Swift for the number 1 spot for the Highest Paid Women in Music 2015 list.

Almost all the musicians who were included in the list have also earned a huge deal from their non-musical endorsements. The "Firework" singer has product endorsement deals with Claire's, Coty and Covergirl; Swift on the other hand has a number of deals as well such as Keds and Diet Coke. The 25-year-old singer is also a Covergirl endorser.

Even Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris is doing well when it comes to his career. Although the Armani model does not earn as much as his pop star girlfriend, he ranks number 6 on the Forbes' list with an estimated earnings of $66 million last year.

"Music has changed," Perry said in an interview with Forbes earlier this year regarding their Celebrity 100 story. "The record is that launching pad for all kinds of other creative branches."

The Forbes' list also included the following successful artists: Justin Timberlake with $63.5 million and Diddy with $60 million. Perry is followed in the rankings by two other amazing artists such as One Direction with $130 million and Garth Brooks with $90 million. According to the Forbes' list, One Direction is earning twice as much as the Rolling Stones and has been generating seven-figure earnings per show while Brooks has come back from retirement to earn more than $1 million per show.
