Noah (Dominic West) loses trust for his fiancée, Alison (Ruth Wilson), and will probably discover her secret in the new episode of "The Affair" Season 2.
In "The Affair" Season 2 episode 10, Alison told Noah that she wants to study to become a doctor but doesn't seem to find the balance in being a student and a mom to their one-year-old child. In the preview for episode 11, International Business Times reports that Noah can be seen talking to his best friend Max (Josh Stamberg), and he tells him that he thinks that she is lying about going to grad school.
Noah discovers that Alison did not go to grad school contrary to what she said. Noah feels frustrated and tells his friends that he has a problem trusting his fiancée after wasting his money on something she did not do. Max then tells his friends that he should have expected Alison to lie to him since their relationship didn't actually inspire honesty from the very beginning, considering they started an affair with each other, with both of them lying to their respective spouses.
Christian Today reports that another teaser video shows Oscar (Darren Goldstein) talking to Noah about how he feels about Alison and how she did not grieve for her son with her ex-husband Cole (Joshua Jackson). In another scene, the couple can be seen talking, with Alison asking Noah if he even believes in her. It was speculated that Noah might also discover that Alison's baby is not his.
In another video, the fans got a glimpse of Noah's trial proceedings with Cole sitting on the witness stand reliving the night Scotty (Colin Donnell) was murdered. Cole tells the court that Noah previously attacked his brother and did it on several occasions.
