The Vampire Diaries Season 7 evolves in the death of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Lily (Annie Wersching), Stephan's Salvatore's mom. The fans were a bit shocked and terrified after that unexpected twist in the series.
Lily concocted a plan to kill Julian (Todd Lasance) without risking herself. However, things did not go exactly in her way since both of them were supernaturally linked with each other. The risk was whatever Lily does to Julian will put her at risk.
As Damon bid his goodbye to Lily in the harshest possible way, there were speculations about the effects of Lily's death to Damon. According to the Entertainment Weekly, an insider recently revealed that Damon's harsh farewell to Lily will have some negative consequences.
"Well, we know that his curt farewell is going to come back to bite him," the insider said during the interview with the Weekly.
The series according to him will return for the second half of season 7 which will probably focus on Somerhalder's Damon. The insider also added that the next episode will be quite special since the eldest Salvatore will find himself in every scene. Damon's fan will surely enjoy the upcoming scenes with their favorite character in it.
In his interview with the Variety, Somerhalder encourages his fans to watch the upcoming tenth episode of the "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 because it provides much clearer information of the previous episodes.
Somerhalder said his fans that the upcoming series will show a different side of his character. He did not mention whether it's good or bad, but he assured that it's going to surprise everyone especially the avid viewers.
The ninth episode will be air on a Thursday night which will also reveal Caroline's baby bump. A teaser for "Cold as Ice" has already been released featuring Caroline while she is talking to Stephen on the phone. And judging the scenes in the teaser, it looks like Caroline will soon give birth to her child.
