‘Dracula’ and Frank Sinatra lived in this Los Angeles House; Buy it for $4.95 Million

Many homes have long histories. They tell the untold stories of an era and are an embodiment of the people who have lived in it. Such is the story of a home in the esteemed Hollywood Hills, an area packed with its eponymous stars since ages and you can now own a piece of Hollywood history for $4.95 million.

The residence at 2260 Maravilla Dr, Los Angeles, might have been renovated several times to look the stunning form it takes today but its history traces its way back to the thirties when Bela Lugosi, the "Dracula" star, bought it and made it his own for about a decade, The Zillow Blog reports.

Soon after Lugosi left, Martha O'Driscoll - the "House of Dracula" star - moved into the residence.

After another decade, "Sultan of Swoon" Frank Sinatra moved into the house with his new wife Ava Gardner. According to the Los Angeles Times, this residence was their first home together.

The location of the house is also unique. Perching at a high area in the Outpost Estates, the home is surrounded by many other celebrity houses like Salma Hayek's, Charlize Theron's and Ben Stiller's. The home last sold in 2012 for $1.55 million.

Listing records of the home state that the house is a 4,200-square-feet single-family residence, comprising of four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

Interiors of the house boast of high, exposed wood-beamed and drywall ceilings, hardwood flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows with slider doors in the living area.

The contemporary kitchen has a mid-rise island that serves as a dining area. There is a family room and a separate dining place as well. There is a great room and a wet bar in the three-storey house as well.

Outside, the place has an infinity pool and lounging area with stunning views of the city below. There is a parking garage as well.

The listing, held by Joseph Babajian of Rodeo Realty, Beverly Hills, describes the place as:

"...glamorous Outpost Estates Villa located on one of the most desirable streets has jetliner views from the entire home overlooking the city, combining Old Hollywood with a contemporary lifestyle. This chic home has been completely renovated by a top designer."
