Celebrity Real Estate News: Muhammad Ali's Old New Jersey Mansion Back In The Market For $750K

The home where legendary boxer Muhammad Ali spent many years of his prime is now back in the Philadephia real estate market for a neat $750,000.

However, listing agent Cheryl Dare, who is under Keller Williams, shares that the old mansion needs a lot of work and renovations done so that it could be as good as it was during its hey days. The estate is also located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

The home, which was built in 1965, covers 6,688 square feet and it is on a 1.5 acre wooded lot. The old Jersey estate is also perfect for large families as it has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and wonderful features like a tennis court, a pool, a large glass atrium, a center courtyard, and heated marble floors. The baths are also pretty impressive, as they have Jacuzzis and double sinks -- the agent says that this is actually the most luxurious area on the entire lot.

Perfect for the fashionista, the boxer's former home's master suite also has a walk-in closet. For drinking aficionados, they will enjoy the 45-feet long bar that can seat a dozen and also large enough to accommodate their liquor collection. Those who indulge themselves by cooking can cook to their hearts content with a state-of-the-art kitchen and they can have endless parties thanks to the catering kitchen.

According to its listing, the Tuscan-style villa previously owned by the former boxing champion is already at a price that's 'hard to beat.' Prospective buyers who are looking for lots previously owned by celebrities will definitely have this property in reach thanks to its reasonable price. The selling price is considered as a 'give-away' considering the history and the luxurious features of the said home. It was also in the market three years ago for $2M, so $750K isn't bad at all.

Ali allegedly sold this New Jersey property back in 1974, and although he initially only paid $108,000 for it, he quickly lost more for spending $200,000 on renovations alone.
