Robert Pattinson and his girlfriend FKA Twigs are reportedly preparing for their upcoming wedding day on New Year's Eve.
According to People, Pattinson and Twigs have previously set a wedding date, but it was moved not because their relationship is falling apart. Rather, Twigs requested her boyfriend to set their wedding at a much later date because she couldn't decide on what theme she wants for their union.
A source close to the family said that there's no truth to the rumors that the couple will tie the knot early this year. Rather, their wedding has been finalized to take place in autumn, at the earliest.
"She talks about it keeping as real and low-key and then wants and elaborate glamorous Baroque affair. She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball," the source said.
The source added that the wedding will be much bigger than what Pattinson and Twigs previously agreed on.
"It will now be bigger but how big, nobody's quite sure at this moment in time. There's no fixed wedding date but will probably be late in the year," the source said.
Meanwhile, it seems that Pattinson and Twigs' respective families wouldn't have any problems with the couple's decision to wed soon. There were recent rumors that the "Twilight" star's entire family has finally accepted Twigs as part of their brood. According to OK! Magazine, Pattinson's family believes that Twigs is better for the actor compared with his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
"She's very good for him and that wedding couldn't come sooner as far as the Pattinson clan is concerned. Whether life partners of husband and wife, Rob and Twigs have their massive love of music in common and that's one of the defining features of this very intense relationship. Rob loves making music with her and learning from her," a source said.
