Ellen Page Sells Los Angeles Starter Home for $1.07 Million

Ellen Page, the "Inception" actress, has sold off her Studio City, Los Angeles, starter home for $1.07 million, a little over her asking price of $1.05 million.

Page listed the home in April and just after two months, the "Juno" star has managed to flip it for a profit. The Trulia Blog broke the news of the sale.

Public records show that the home last sold for $885,000 in 2011. It was listed for $1.02 million and she snagged it for a discount through the same trust that she bought her current abode with. She recently purchased tennis star Venus Williams' Hollywood Hills house - about a few months before listing her starter home.

The home is a 1,499-square-feet single-family house, sitting on a 10,016-square-feet lot. It has two bedrooms and one and half bathrooms.

Listing photos of the home show spacious interiors with wood-beamed ceilings, French doors and floor-to-ceiling windows. The master suite has a walk-in closet. There is a modern kitchen with a breakfast nook and a full-fledged laundry exists inside the home too.

Outside, the home has a small garden, an "8-shaped" pool and a fire-pit too. There is a 2-car garage as well.

The listing at Zillow described the place as "rare turn-key Cape Cod Traditional Home" set in a "tranquil, serene environment in terrific move-in condition, moments from the heart of Studio City."

Page's new house is a 1,528-square-feet single-family home comprised of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Read more on that property here.

Last year, Page caught headlines after she came out publicly as gay at the "Time to Thrive" conference. She was applauded and appreciated for her brave speech. It's been more than a year since then and now, the "X Men: Days of the Future Past" actress is being linked to Shailene Woodley - "The Fault in our Stars" actress - after they were spotted hanging out a couple of times and appearing in pictures.
