"Scream Queens" just aired its Season 1 finale this week, and fans are reportedly excited for Season 2, although the network has yet to announce the renewal of the show. Meanwhile, the stars weigh in on reports about the possible events that may happen if the show returns for the second season.
According to Christian Today, the new season might feature a new location and also a new killer. Actress KeKe Palmer revealed in an interview that if she had it her way, she would want the location to be in a summer camp. The 22-year-old actress said that a summer camp theme would be great for the show as it reminds her of the character Jason form the movie "Friday the 13th." She added that summer camps are also the common theme of horror movies which she loved watching when she was growing up.
During the Fright Fest held in New York last October, creator Ryan Murphy hinted ideas on the show's second season despite the fact that the network has yet to confirm the show's renewal. Murphy said in the event that in Season 2, fans can expect new threats and new villains, aside from the new venue. He explained that the surviving cast will go to a horror-based venue and they will have to fight the new killer. He also confirmed that the casting for Season 2 has already started.
Meanwhile, International Business Times reports that actress Lea Michele revealed that she herself was shocked when she learned that she was behind all the gruesome deaths in the season. Although she was revealed to be the killer, her character managed to get away, and Michele revealed in an interview that she has been talking to Murphy on the possible role Hester will have in season 2. Michele added that Hester's past may haunt her in Season 2 and that it is something interesting that fans should not miss.
