'Outlander' Season 2 Premiere Date: TV Series' Return Pushed Back to April 2016?

With two new pictures and the latest clip released earlier this month, "Outlander" Season 2 is ready to return for its excited fans this coming 2016. Initially scheduled to premiere this coming fall, the TV series' return is now said to be pushed back to April 2016.

Dec. 1 was a treat for fans of the TV series "Outlander" after a teaser of its upcoming Season 2 was released. However, the premiere of the series is speculated to have been set back to a later date, April 2016, instead of the initial fall release. Though no official confirmation about the show's return has been announced by the network, a Spring premiere is said to be possible for the show.

Meanwhile, as predicted, the show's plot gets more exciting as Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe return on the small screen, this time in France, offering a more fancy and medieval experience combined with conflicts and drama surrounding their surreal lives.

Movie News Guide reports that Claire and Jaime will be living in France to leave the past behind and to start a new life with their baby on the way. A whole new perspective is about to be featured as the couple's relationship is tested all over again, only with a more aesthetically appealing setting to boot.

The Outlander TV News website, on the other hand, featured two of the latest images from the set of the "Outlander" series. The first image features Claire in a blue gown sitting on a chair with a strained but an austere look in her eyes. The second image offers a glimpse of the classy setting of the Season 2 of the series, with two ladies strolling around what looks like a French Court. The costumes are definitely parallel to the grandeur of the new setting.

It's a whole new world for Jaime and Claire in France as they continue their story in "Outlander" Season 2. With a baby coming on the way in a city surrounded by beauty and intrigue, the couples are about to bring another different kind of experience for their fans this coming April 2016, as predicted.
