While everyone is going crazy for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the lingerie brand's 2015 holiday commercial made its debut on Tuesday night, Dec. 8.
As usual, the focus was on the several current Victoria's Secret Angels - including Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo, Martha Hunt, Jasmine Tookes, and Taylor Hill - and their show stopping lingerie.
Shot in Rome, Italy, the Angels seem to be immune to the winter weather, as the Daily Mail reports:
"Despite baring perfect tans that suggest they spend much of their time in tropical climes, the ladies do not even suffer a solitary goosebump. [...] The two minute commercial showcases the stunners as they gape open-mouthed as if they have never before witnessed the phenomenon of crystalline ice water forming as flakes and precipitating before their very eyes."
The music they chose for the commercial is highly fitting too - since you're sure to fall in love with the new holiday lingerie pieces, Victoria's Secret decided to match it with Taylor Swift's "This Love."
Taylor Swift is no stranger to the Victoria's Secret family. Not only are her squad members Angels, but she's also performed at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show two years in a row already.
Although Taylor Swift wasn't among this year's performers - Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, and Ellie Goulding graced the runway this 2015 - Taylor Swift still "managed to make an appearance in the new film," as reported by Pop Sugar.
The new commercial is a far cry from the aesthetics of this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show too. According to Food World News:
"Angels Taylor and Jasmine pose alongside the VS pros in the sexy spot - and all of the girls look heavenly while modeling in their bra and underwear, which they accessorized with Victoria's Secret staples - bombshell waves and angel wings. The looks on the holiday commercial are beyond sexy but also have a softer vibe, especially when compared to some of the colorful looks from the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show."
Victoria's Secret officially unveiled the holiday commercial on their Twitter account, which reads: "We had ourselves a little #RomanHoliday... here's the full commercial again #VSFashionShow."
