American actor Evan Handler has bought a new ranch home located in Westchester for $1.8 million, a report from Los Angeles Times said on Thursday.
"The 1950s ranch-style home was recently remodeled and features contemporary interiors with hardwood floors, open-plan living areas and a new kitchen outfitted with quartz countertops and a breakfast bar. Other spaces include a living room with a wall fireplace, a dining room and a great room topped with cathedral-ceilings. Walls of windows and sliding glass doors bring the outdoors inside. The master suite has dual vanities and a steam shower for a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Outdoors, hedged grounds center on a saltwater swimming pool with a spa and custom waterfall feature. An outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, a patio and drought-tolerant landscaping complete the setting," the report said.
According to property records, Handler's home has been on the market in October with an asking price of $1.599 million. The sale transaction was handled by Stephanie Younger of Teles Properties.
Handler, 54, is best known for his character roles in several films like "Californication" and "Sex and the City." According to Celebrity Net Worth, he has a net worth of $8 million.
"Handler also stars in 'Six Feet Under,' 'The West Wing,' 'Friends,' 'Miami Vice,' 'Law & Order,' 'Lost' and '24'. In 1991, he stormed off the set during a performance on Broadway when his costar hit him on the butt with a sword during a scene. Handler is the author of two books: 'Time On Fire: My Comedy of Terrors' and 'It's Only Temporary...The Good News and Bad News of Being Alive', both of which touch on his battle with leukemia. He has been married to Italian chemist Elisa Atti since 2003. They have a daughter together, Sofia Clementina, who was born in 2007," the report said.
