Adam Carolla, the host of the most downloaded podcast of the world "The Adam Carolla Show", has reportedly listed his home in Malibu for sale with an asking price of $4.49 million.
The Trulia Blog broke news of the listing noting that Michael Cunningham of Pinnacle estate properties is the listing agent.
Carolla's Malibu residence is located in the Point Dume area and can serve as a comfortable vacation retreat. Trulia calls the house "ho-hum by Hollywood standards", but that doesn't mean it does not have great amenities.
Spanning an area of 3,800 square feet, the residence has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
According to the listing photos, the home has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, hardwood flooring and provides for ample recreation space.
There is a manicured lawn in the back-yard and a chilly-shaped pool with a spa in the middle. There is a two-car garage as well.

More recently, Carolla put his Lake Hollywood home for rent asking $13,500 a month. He purchased the house, which he owns with his wife, for $1.63 million in 2003. A previous feature on Realty Today about the home reads:
"From the outside, the residence may look like any in the neighborhood; it's only once you enter the premises you realize its exclusiveness. The ground floor accommodates a spacious, made-to-order entertainment room, furnished with a pool table and a full bar with a view of the pool."
Carolla also purchased a La Canada-Flintridge home last year for $2.9 million, which is just a stone's throw away from actor Vince Vaughn's house. He purchased the home through the same trust with which he bought his now-listed Malibu house.

Carolla and his wife lived in a Spanish style home in Hollywood since 2003. They vacated the place to move into the new neighborhood. The Real Estalker speculated that the couple might have moved as the suburb's school system is one of the best in the country and they have school-going fraternal twins.
