"Dance Moms" has just released a new promo video for the upcoming sixth season of the hit Lifetime reality TV show.
On Dec. 4, Lifetime shared a one-minute clip featuring Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, Brynn Rumfallo, Nia Frazer and JoJo Siwa. Abby Lee Miller's Junior Elite Team didn't shy away from showing off their impressive dance moves and funny antics.
The clip opens with an aerial shot of the 13-year-old Ziegler who splits her way through the first two seconds of the promo video. Ziegler is followed by Frazer, who lays on the floor upside down. Kendall Vertes, who just celebrated her birthday, then makes funny faces on camera. Siwa, meanwhile, stretches out her arms and legs and smiles from ear to ear in front of the lens.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 new cast member Rumfallo was up next. The young dancer splits and jumps in the clip. Meanwhile, Vertes is once again shown, but this time around she does a split. Frazer once again lays on the floor and she, too, does an impressive split.
The next scenes feature the dancers in groups of three showing off their dance moves. Toward the end of the clip, each one of them makes a funny face in front of the camera as if informing fans that Season 6 will be one hell of a season.
In other news, Miller's ALDC dancers will compete at the Fierce event in California on Dec. 12, according to the show's spoiler site. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Ziegler will finally have a solo dance number in the said competition.
In Season 6 episodes 7 and 8, Ziegler only performed alongside her other teammates in the group dance category. The "Elastic Heart" dancer also missed a couple of episodes from Season 6 because she was in the Big Apple for "The Book of Henry" filming.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 will premiere on Lifetime on Jan. 5, 2016.
