Allan Metzger, the doctor who served as one of the personal physicians to the King of Pop Michael Jackson, has reportedly sold a home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, for $2.6 million.
The Los Angeles Times broke the news of the deal noting that Marc J Robinson of Keller Williams Realty represented the seller and the buyer, both.
Property records show that the home closed transaction July 02, 2014. It came up on the market with a $2.49 million price tag in May and seems to have sold for over the asking price just within a month's time.
The residence's location and architectural style made it an easy sell. The listing called the place the "quintessential mid-century modern" and reveals that the place has been done up with style to suit the taste of "today's most discriminating buyer."
The house spans an area of 4,210 square feet and has six bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Interiors of the home boast of dark hardwood and marble flooring, drywall ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass windows and slider doors.
Living spaces include a drawing room, a dining area, a great room, a family room and a modern kitchen with a stone mid-rise island.
Outside, there is an infinity pool, a shower area, ample lounging space and a manicured, landscaped lawn. There is a large parking garage as well that can accommodate about six cars.

While Michael Jackson's medic just sold off a property, his mother Katharine Jackson just purchased a Calabasas mansion that she and Jackson's kids lived in for quite some time for $10.75 million.
Metzger was a long-time physician to Michael Jackson. He even testified in court for his wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray.
Metzger said that Jackson would often use medication after seeking consent from doctors his personal medics didn't know of.
"Michael would seek out avenues of sleep helpers, and that's another aspect of the secrecy. I never knew what he was doing at the times when he wasn't in L.A.," Dr. Metzger said in a video deposition in court during the trial.
"Probably he did things in L.A. that I don't know or Dr. Kline doesn't know," he said referring to Jackson's former plastic surgeon, Arnold Kline.
Metzger was himself involved in a sexual harassment lawsuit last year when a female patient sued him for groping her and sexually assaulting her.
