Justin Bartha Sells Hollywood Hills Bachelor Pad for $1.38 Million

Justin Bartha, the "Hangover" actor, has reportedly sold his former bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills for $1.38 million.

Bartha was represented by Jackie Smith of Hilton & Hyland Real estate while the buyer, who hasn't been identified yet, was repped by Heidi Davis of Keller Williams Larchmont.

Bartha listed the home in May for $1.37 million. The listing made complete sense as Bartha recently got married to his fitness trainer Lia Smith. The couple married in an intimate ceremony in Oahu, Hawaii and Lia was apparently pregnant at that time.

Bartha and Lia welcomed a baby girl April 13. While this is the first child for both of them, Bartha has had some experience of playing a "stay-at-home" dad on NBC's "The New Normal."

In one of the episodes, Bartha played an enthusiastic and eager stay-at-home dad. Talking about the episode, Bartha said:

"We both [David and Bryan] have a fantasy about being stay-at-home dads, quitting our busy lives and taking care of our child."

"The fantasy turns into a bit of a nightmare," he adds. They both have their idea of what fun is. David also has some fun things up his sleeve, and you get to see how each guy tries to relate and communicate to Shania. They have their best intentions in mind but things don't turn out the way they planned.

The Home

Listing records of the home show that the residence closed transaction July 9, 2014. Not only did Bartha receive more than the asking price, but also made a neat profit as he had purchased the place for $1.25 million in 2007.

The single-family residence exudes an exotic charm. Boasting of vintage Spanish architecture, the home offers 1,416 square feet of living space.

Interiors feature stone-tiled and hardwood flooring, wood-beamed ceilings and glass windows.

Living spaces include a formal living area, a dining space, an updated eat-in kitchen and a study.

Outside, the house has a swimming pool and a spa. A covered patio, a small garden and ample parking space are its other features.

The listing described the space as:

"Tucked away in Laurel Canyon on a hard to find double corner lot, this magical 1920's Spanish will take your breath away. The home has exceptional original character but is combined with tasteful and elegant updates."
