Celebrity couple David and Yolanda Foster recently announced that they are getting a divorce and the cause highlights one culprit, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Inquistr mentioned how the former model's involvement in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" may have caused the record producer's decline in the music industry. An insider allegedly said that the 66-year-old composer's Verve Music Group is failing and losing money because of his wife's involvement in the show.
According to the same report, David supposedly pointed out that the show did not benefit him the way Yolanda's daughters from a different marriage did. Both Gigi Hadid and sister, Bella, are now successful models thanks to their mother's RHOBH stint.
"David likes to stay relevant. He's had success and was a big deal... so I think [the show made him] feel like he doesn't hold the same place in pop culture," the insider exposed. "Maybe it's a reality check because her daughters are pop culture. I'm sure he's upset her kids' careers are popping off and his aren't. He's competitive in that way."
On the other hand, a different source close to Yolanda slammed this alleged competitiveness of the Grammy award-winning artist. This other insider said that it is not true that David hated being on the show nor he is not willing to try to work on her relationship with his estranged wife, the International Business Times noted.
The source wanted to clear out all the nasty things being said about the record producer. The snitch mentioned that David is not the horrible guy other people are painting him to be. There is no truth to rumors that the Canadian native left his wife "out to dry." David is already 66 years old and the last thing he wants at his age is to be alone and deal with his fourth divorce.
The news about the Fosters' divorce broke on Dec. 1, after nine years of being in a relationship, four of which were spent as a married couple.
