'OnePlus 3' News, Rumors, Specs, Features: What We Want To See In 'OnePlus 3' Is A Fingerprint Scanner And And NFC Reader

"OnePlus 3" is the most anticipated smartphone to come from OnePlus. "OnePlus 2" being a great phone, it's quite easy to put in high level of expectations (and hopes) on the next flagship phone. However, as great as the "OnePlus 2" is, there are still several things that could be improved and added on the phone.

With that said, we've got a list of things we like added to the "OnePlus 3". But before that, here are the rumors that we have heard about the device:

"OnePlus 3" is expected to come out mid 2016 and it is likely to cost around $329. It may look closely similar to the "OnePlus 2" but without a fingerprint reader. It is also possible that the "OnePlus 3" will sport a metal back and a mirrored screen. Furthermore, it may be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chip and it may come with a 1080p screen.

What the "OnePlus 3" should have:

As per TechRadar, one of the things the "OnePlus 3" should have is the NFC reader. It may even be OnePlus' biggest omission from its previous flagship, probably because it used to not be as popular as it is now. Currently, most flagship phones and some budget friendly phones already have it. Now that Android Pay is gradually becoming popular, we hope to see NFC back in the "OnePlus 3". Furthermore, quick charging capability should also be added to the "OnePlus 3". This feature may be less necessary than the NFC reader, but it would be great if "OnePlus 3" comes with that feature, especially if it comes with a big battery.

Even though early renders suggest that a fingerprint scanner will be absent on the "OnePlus 3", we still can't help but hope there'll be one. If "OnePlus 3" does come with a fingerprint reader, it would hopefully be a better reader than what the "OnePlus 2" has, since the predecessor's scanner is a bit unresponsive at times and it sometimes even fail altogether.

Another issue that should be fixed in the next OnePlus phone is the overheating of Snapdragon 810. The said chip has been infamous for its heating issues, and the "OnePlus 2" supposedly used an improved version of the chip. However, "OnePlus 2" still doesn't seem to be immune from the overheating problems. If "OnePlus 3" can get a handle on this problem, it would very much be appreciated.

Furthermore, we'd like "OnePlus 3" to carry a QHD screen as it clearly can use some extra pixels. An even longer battery life is also welcome, alongside a wireless charging capability. However, most importantly, the "OnePlus 3" must have a microSD slot. It's the one thing that can make all the difference if you're a smartphone dependent individual. But lastly, it would be highly appreciated if OnePlus keeps the price similar to its affordable predecessors.
