Jillian Michaels Bids Adios to Hollywood Hills Home for $2.15 Million

Jillian Michaels, the celebrity trainer of weight-loss reality show "Biggest Loser", has reportedly found a buyer for her home in Hollywood Hills for $2.15 million.

TMZ broke news of the sale and its price, while listing records still show a "sale pending" status.

Michaels re-listed the home in May for $2.15 million. It debuted with a $2.45 million price tag in May 2013, but having failed to find a buyer she reduced the asking price.

Public records show that the residence last sold in 2008 for $1.5 million. Reza Farahan of Keller Williams Realty Hollywood Hills, who also happens to be a fellow reality TV star, is the listing agent.

The home is a 2,701-square feet single-family residence, comprising of three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

Interiors of the home feature an open floor plan, glass windows and doors with drywall ceilings. Living space includes a large drawing room surrounded by glass walls that open into the backyard pool. There is a modern kitchen with a marble-topped mid-rise island.

The master bedroom on the upper level has a large dressing room. There is a spacious study/library on the level too.

Outside, the home has ample recreation area. There is a pool and a lounging area. There is a four-car parking garage as well.

The listing described the home as "the QUINTESSENTIAL Hollywood Hills home with killer CITY LIGHTS VIEWS!"

The listing also noted that the home has been "designed by award winning architects Offenhauser/Mekeel in 2000 and re-imagined by the current celebrity owner..."

Michaels and her partner Heidi Rhodes may have moved into a larger place as their two children have been growing up. Michaels also owns a $1.1 million, two bed-two bath house in L.A. that she uses as an investment.

News of the sale comes just days after Michaels announced she wasn't returning for the next season of "Biggest Loser."

"I don't want fans to think I feel like I'm too big for the show or that I'm seeking greener pastures. I'm so grateful to the show and so sad to leave," she told People Magazine. She added that "there were some fundamental differences [with Loser's producers] that have existed for a while."
