As we wait for the end of 2015, the film and TV industry will now give recognitions to the casts and crew who stood among the rest in the past year.
Rotten Tomatoes provided the full list of the schedule of award ceremonies starting last September 2015. Recently, several award-giving bodies and organizations already released the names included in this year's nominees including the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, and the upcoming Critics Choice Awards.
People’s Choice Awards
The 42nd People's Choice Awards is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. It will air live on CBS at 9:00 p.m. "Glee" star and LGBT advocate Jane Lynch will serve as the host.
Golden Globes Awards
The 73rd Golden Globe Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, Jan. 10 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. It will air at 8:00 p.m. on NBC. Comedian Ricky Gervais will return for the fourth time to host the annual event.
Critics Choice Awards
According to Deadline, "Silicon Valley" star and comedian T.J. Miller will be this year's host. The 21st Critics' Choice Awards will be held on Sunday, Jan. 17 in Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. It will air on A&E, Lifetime and LMN.
Producers Guild Awards
The awards' site announced that the 27th edition of the PGA will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, California.
Screen Actors Guild Awards
The 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, Jan. 30, on both TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. It will be held at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, California
Directors Guild Awards
The annual Directors Guild Award will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. It will be hosted by Jane Lynch for the third consecutive year.
Writers Guild of America Awards
This year's Writers Guild of America Awards is scheduled on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel.
BAFTA Awards
The 68th British Academy Film Awards, which also known as the BAFTAs, will be held on Sunday, Feb. 14 at the Royal Opera House in London.
Grammy Awards
The 58th Grammy Awards is scheduled to be held on Monday, Feb. 15 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will air on CBS at 8 p.m.
Film independent Spirit Awards
The 31st Independent Spirit Awards will take place at the Santa Monica Beach. It will air live on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m on IFC.
Oscars
The 88th Academy Awards ceremony or Oscars will be held on Sunday, Feb. 28 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California at 8:30 p.m. It will be aired on ABC.Actor/Comedian Chris Rock will have his second hosting gig at the upcoming event.
iHeartRadio Music Awards
According to Billboard, the annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will air on Sunday, Apr. 3 on TBS, TNT and TruTV.
MTV Awards
According to MTV, the MTV Movie Awards will air on Sunday, April 10 while the MTV Video Music Awards will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28.
