The Amazing Race Season 27 Finale: Kelsey & Joey Win, Thanks to That Taxi

The last three teams find themselves racing on Long Island, New York towards the finish line in "The Amazing Race" Season 27 finale. Here are some of the highlights of what transpired in the series final episode.

Logan and Chris left first heading to Long Island, followed by Kelsey and Joey, and then Justin and Diana. But since there's only one flight, they get to arrive there at the same time. They went to the FDNY Academy to complete an exercise training with the New York Fire Department. Then they were tasked to solve a memory puzzle; they needed to put the capital of each country they visited in chronological order.

Justin and Diana were leading, but they don't have a cab. When they arrived in the academy, Justin argued with the driver and he drove off. Chris and Logan's cab had also driven away, and so only Kelsey and Joey had a cab waiting for them. Justin and Diana and Chris and Logan rode a bus to Manhattan.

Kelsey and Joey arrived first at Belmont Park and were told to fly on a helicopter bound for the Hamptons. Chris and Logan were next, followed by Justin and Diana.

Kelsey and Joey remained ahead and reached Southampton first. They rode a See-Doo to a lobster boat where the teams found what they called the hardest challenge they had in the entire race -- pulling up and replacing seven lobster pots, plus a memory challenge which involved putting the flags of the country they visited in correct order.

They all got the flags wrong on first try and later figured out there were extras. Kelsey and Joey got their clue first, followed by Justin and Diana. They had to assemble six Adirondack chairs. Justin and Diana were catching up. But Kelsey and Joey were able to find their clue first and race for the final stop.

Phil told Kelsey and Joey they won the Amazing Race and the million dollars prize. Justin and Diana finished first, and Chris and Logan last.
