Is Will Smith Going To Run For President? Actor Says Donald Trump's Comments Are 'Forcing' Him To Enter Politics

Watch out, Donald Trump! You have dissed yet another influential person -- Will Smith. Recently, the actor expressed that the Republican hopeful is "forcing" him to join politics. Was the "Concussion" actor kidding or was he serious about running for office?

Last December 13, Smith appeared on CBS Sunday Morning to promote his upcoming movie. During the discussion, the actor pointed out, "If people keep saying the crazy kind of stuff they've been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, that will force me into the political arena."

Although the actor did not mention a specific name, it is clear he was referring to Donald Trump. The notorious billionaire has spoken aggressively and persistently about his desire to construct a 100-foot wall to keep out illegal Mexican immigrants, as well as his proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States.

Jokingly, Smith also added, "I mean, I gotta be President. I mean come on, keep it real. What else would I run for?"

Initially, Smith was promoting his upcoming movie "Concussion." The discussion then quickly shifted to politics when he was asked what he would to do if he weren't an actor or rapper. To the delight of Trump's haters, the actor did not hesitate to share his ideas about going against the candidate on the presidential race.

However, Smith did point out that being president is something that he cannot "reach." He explained, "There's a contribution to the world inside of me that I can't reach. There's something I'm supposed to be doing, there's a person that I want to be that I saw the reflection in my grandmother's eye. You know what it is but I can't reach that thing, there's so much more that I feel I have to offer that I can't access in myself."

Smith's movie "Concussion" will hit theaters in December 25, 2015.
