X Factor's Simon Cowell Predicts Louisa Johnson to 'Outshine' Leona Lewis

Louisa Johnson, 17, has always been the favorite since the beginning of the show. Now that X Factor has come to a close, the young vocal power house was named the youngest winner of the show and is anticipated to become a bigger star than 2006 champion Leona Lewis.

On Sunday night's live finale held at London's Wembley Arena, Johnson bested Reggie 'N' Bollie in a dramatic conclusion. After putting on a jaw-dropping performance, she was voted as the crowd's favorite and received praise from the show's boss Simon Cowell.

An insider revealed to The Sun, "Louisa is the whole package, she has a great voice, she is pretty and is young enough to have a long career. Simon thinks she could even go on to outshine Leona."

Lewis, who was mentored by Cowell, has attained international success since her win. She is currently the richest winner of the competition with a fortune of $19 million. She is closely followed by 2011 champions Little Mix with $18 million.

When X Factor hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack declared Johnson as the winner, her mentor Rita Ora cannot contain her happiness. She thanked the fans who voted and described Johnson as "the most talented, hardworking and gorgeous winner."

Johnson, on the other hand, could not fight back her tears. The emotional winner wailed, "I've imagined this day for so many years, it's incredible. You have no idea how much this means to me."

The teen then took to Twitter to thank her fans. She tweeted, "OMG. Thank you!!! You are seriously the most loyal supporters ever. This was my dream and you have made it come true."

Johnson's win came as a surprise as the Ghanaian duo Reggie 'N' Bollie have consistently dominated the public vote. However, on the final night of X Factor, she blew the audience away with her rendition of James Brown's "It's a Man's World."
