Patrick Stump of ‘Fall out Boy’ Sells Hollywood Hills Home for $1.8 Million

Patrick Stump, the lead singer of alternative rock band "Fall Out Boy," has reportedly sold his home in Hollywood Hills for $1.8 million.

The Los Angeles Times first noticed the change in listing records, breaking news of the sale.

Stump purchased the residence for $1.9 million in April 2008. He first listed the place for $2.2 million in November, last year. Failing to find a buyer in three months, the price of the home was reduced to $2.07 million in February.

Still unclaimed, the home was price chopped to $1.84 million this June, but it eventually sold for $49,000 less than the asking price.

According to the listing records, the home is a 2,509-square-feet single family house, comprising of three bedrooms, three full and one half bathroom.

The modern two-storey home has an open plan, large floor-to-ceiling glass windows and slider doors that offer panoramic views of the city. The home has multiple balconies and emits a positive and cheerful vibe.

Living spaces of the house include a bonus room, an office and a swanky recording studio apart from the living, dining and recreations areas. The home also has a modern kitchen with custom built-in pantry.

Outside, the home is surrounded by greens and also has a four-car parking garage. The residence is fit with the most modern energy-saving appliances.

An earlier version of the listing read:

"Calling all "Rockstars"! Situated on a magical promontory with views of the city and ocean, Lake Hollywood, the vineyards and the iconic Hollywood sign, this renovated 3 bed/ 3.5 bath home + studio is within a private gated enclave."

Members of the "Fall Out Boy" have been dabbling in some real estate of late. Stump isn't the only one getting some action in the property department. More recently, bassist Pete Wentz sold off his Los Feliz home for $1.23 million. Guitarist Joe Trohman also unloaded his Chicago house for $760,000.

Trohman currently lives in a Los Feliz house that he had purchased in December last year for $1.9 million.

The "Fall Out Boy" recently performed at the 2014 Bunbury Music Festival and have just recorded a performance with rapper T.I for VH1's upcoming show "Soundclash."
