If there is more one thing we can rely on fashion guru and "Project Runway" mentor Tim Gunn, aside from his impeccable taste, it is honesty. When it comes to the Kardashians, he is just as honest, if not more. Obviously, he is not a fan and he made his thoughts about it known.
In an interview with New York Daily News, Gunn, said, pertaining to Kanye West, "They're dumb clothes and they're expensive, dumb clothes. I've always said the only thing dumber than his clothes is the people who buy them. I don't care what you wear as long as you don't dress like a Kardashian. It's vulgar, period. But that's what they are. I believe that their place in history will be because of this phenomenon that really is about nothing. And aren't people getting bored of it?"
In addition, Gunn expressed admiration for what Caitlyn Jenner has done and has gone through but he is just not a fan of her style. He also mixed Caitlyn with Kylie Jenner, asking what was the difference. He added that he was horrified when Caitlyn said during the the Glamour Women of the Year Awards that one of the toughest decision a woman makes everyday is choosing what to wear.
Way back in June, when Kim Kardashian released her book about selfies, titled "Selfish," he quipped that his "IQ was plummeting," during an interview with US Weekly. The mother of two, Gunn observed, has not upgraded her style since she tied the knot with West.
Gunn said, "I thought, really? I think if you asked most other women that it's not going to be on the tip of their tongue. She's like a dizzy broad. Actually I love that. She's a dizzy broad."
