Selena Gomez has been attracting attention once again to her unclear love life with her recent link to British boy band One Direction member, Niall Horan. Even amidst the well backed-upped allegations of fans about her supposed affair with Horan, the "Come and Get It" singer remains in denial about it.
One Direction has been planning to temporarily part ways and performed their pre-hiatus X Factor performance. Selena Gomez was spotted hanging around the backstage while One Direction sings their hearts out for the last time on the X Factor stage before a long vacation.
One Direction's performance was really special especially to X Factor judge Simon Cowell. Cowell gives a message to the band in a farewell video with other artists, "Enjoy the time off, have a fantastic time. The thing I'm probably most proud of is who you've all become," he ends by saying, "I'll always be there."
The boys reassured the fans and said that they will surely get back together soon after an undefined period of rest.
In the backstage, Gomez has been hanging out with Lottie Tomlinson, One Direction member Louis Tomlinson's sister. It goes to show that Gomez has been making good friends out of the One Direction circle.
Gomez posted an Instagram picture of her and Lottie backstage with a caption, "My baby @lottietommo123 did me up tonight."
Lottie did Gomez' make up backstage while One Direction performed on the X Factor stage.
Rumors about Gomez and Horan's romantic relationship started after they were spotted leaving Jena Dewan Tatum's birthday party together.
Horan was also spotted backstage at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball of KIISFM where Selena Gomez did a performance a few days before the X Factor performance.
Even after these incidents, Gomez remains firm about her and Horan just being good friends.
