Ed Sheeran Performs On a Peep Show Gig for Unsuspecting Fans

Australian comedy duo Hamish and Andy collaborates with Ed Sheeran and set up a $2 peep show where the Grammy-nominated Pop star would perform live in front of the customer for 30 seconds.

Peep shows have a very bad reputation that is usually linked to nude performances and shady economy. "Peep shows, they have a pretty bad name," says Andy Lee, "Normally associated with lewd content, but by definition, they don't have to be."

The set-up was very dodgy with the classic velvet mantles and a rotating disco ball lighting. Ed Sheeran waited inside the peep show stage for 2 hours before a couple decides to give it a try. Hamish, acting as the peep show's promoter, sported a beard and a very sketchy personality. Out of desperation, Hamish lost his sketchy character and started begging people to sign up for the peep show.

Hamish even joked about why the peep show was not attracting customers saying, "I think one of the big problems is that a lot of people think 'Ed Sheeran' is a code word for a new drug."

The first set of customers were shocked to see that the actual "Thinking Out Loud" singer was singing in front of them for only $2 dollars. They started holding up their cellphones to record the once in a lifetime experience.

The facial expressions of the people who went in the peep show were priceless. One of the customers even sang and harmonized with Sheeran as he sung "Thinking Out Loud." Sheeran busted a few giggles but composes himself even with the fan's out of tune harmonization.

Sheeran was actually surprised to see somebody coming in to see his $2 peep show, "That was easy, I didn't think anyone would come in," Sheeran says in relief that finally the long wait is over.

Ocean Side Post commends Hamish and Andy for creating a "masterpiece."

The globally-famed singer has once again thrilled his fans for being such a good sport and having a great and cool personality.
