Game developer Nintendo has announced that it will make a final presentation of its popular video game, "Super Smash Bros." It was said the company is slated to hold "Super Smash Bros." Direct presentation on Dec. 15, 5 pm Eastern Standard Time or 2 pm Pacific Time, a report from iDigital Times said.
According to the report, avid fans and die-hard gamers of "Super Smash Bros." are expecting that Nintendo will eventually make a big announcement related to the game. It was said that fans are expecting that new details about the "Cloud Strife" DLC will be announced during the event. Recent reports, however, suggest that the company will likely announce additional characters.
"As persistently mentioned in previous reports, there are at least five slots that the Super Smash DLC will fill up. Two have been reserved already for Cloud and the FF7-themed stage - rumored as the Midgar arena - that he will bring with him. The balance spots remain a guessing game subject and the suggestions floating around so far piques the interest. Since Cloud and Roy represent Super Smash entries that totally surprised fans, [they] cannot help but to toy with the wildest ideas such as Goku of DragonBall Z smashing his way to the franchise," Yibada said.
It was said that loyal fans of the game are expecting "Shovel Knight" to be added as part of the title's DLC package. It should be noted that the company will eventually entertain the results of the Fighter Ballot. Thus, there's a high chance that "Shovel Knight" as one of the playable characters to take the slot will likely happen. If the company decides to take "Shovel Knight," this will surely spark great excitement among fans.
"The December Nintendo Direct airing is said to be the last of the Super Smash series, which likely will encourage the game creator to tease the future plan that Smashers can look forward to. One possible hint that the 15th broadcast will carry is the Super Smash connection to the company's rumored gaming device - the Nintendo NX," Yibada said.
