Last month, Rockstar Games held a week-long event called "Lowriders week" for "GTA Online," "Grand Theft Auto V's" multiplayer mode.
As previously reported, "Lowriders Week" offered lots of game specials, discounts and lots of free stuff such as free hats. And this month GTA Online is about to have another free update. The update called "Executives and Other Criminals," according to GameSpot, allows gamers to play as VIPs and establish their own crime syndicate.
This free update, which is coming in less that 48 hours to "GTA Online" will introduce new gameplay modes and luxury-themed stuff. The update will also add customizable apartments, new homes in Vinewood hills and unlock a luxurious massive Yacht. There will also be more co-op jobs and challenges and, for the first time ever, this update will allow gamers to hire and fire bodyguards. The square of bodyguards are filled in by other GTA Online players, and for being hired as one the player gets RP, GTA$, and statistic boosts along with a regular paycheck.
And there is more, according to Rockstar Games, this free update will introduce a "Turreted Limo and the missile defense systems of the Super Yacht." Moreover, as written on the official Rockstar Games website, "Some existing Freemode Events will automatically adapt when played by organizations, allowing for new ways to take on King of The Castle, Moving Target and more. Also included is the new Extraction Adversary Mode, tasking teams of Bodyguards to search, locate and safely extract an Executive from their downed jet before a Hit Squad intercepts and eliminates the target."
Unfortunately like the Lowriders Week event for "GTA Online," this free update "Executives and Other Criminals" will only be available to PS4, Xbox One and PC on Dec. 15. As Rockstar Games has posted on the comment section following the Lowriders Week announcement, "future content updates such as this are only possible on the newer and more powerful platforms. As there isn't enough memory available to add to the game on the older systems, we cannot make any more meaningful content updates without putting the entire game at risk."
