'Kingdom Hearts 3' to Focus on the Lost Keyblade Masters

The recent updates for "Kingdom Hearts 3" are nothing more but speculations on it release date and the inclusion of new Disney characters and worlds.

As previously reported, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released sometime in 2016 with rumors suggesting that it will include worlds from "Big Hero 6" and that it's game play will be featured in "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue." There are even rumors suggesting that Square Enix is still working on "Kingdom Hearts III" for release on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and that there is already a release date but is kept under tight wraps by the company.

When the YouTube video from Everglow surfaced, the fans attention has shifted from the release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3" to the main focus of the game's story. In the said YouTube video, it was mentioned that the game might focus on the "Lost Masters." The Lost Master's according to the article written by Aaron Main on Gaming Bolt, were introduced in the web based game, "Kingdom Hearts: Chi" that is only available in Japan.

Furthermore, the video talked about the connection between "Kingdom Hearts: Chi" and the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" in a sense that the former has actually given clues about Keyblade that Master Xehanort uses in the "Kingdom Hearts" series.

In another news, it was also mentioned that "Kingdom Hearts 3" would most likely concentrate on the lost keyblade masters referenced in the ancient text. And like what the Everglow has mentioned in the video, the report in Master Herald also suggests that the story arc of "Kingdom Hearts 3" would most likely follow Mickey and Riku's quest to look for an item that can help battle the darkness, but would still mainly stay with the origin of the lost keyblade.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected to release in 2016. In the meantime, enjoy the video below:
