Funny man Chris Kattan, who is perhaps best known for his stint on the famous talk show 'Saturday Night Live', has reportedly sold his home in Hollywood Hills for $1.55 million.
The transaction closed July 29, according to the public records. Kattan listed the home January, this year, for $1.99 million and price chopped it in February to $1.79 million.
Though the home eventually sold well below the initial asking, Kattan made a profit off the sale as he purchased the home in 2001 for about $1.07 million.
Listing records of the home state that the residence is a Spanish style cottage spanning a prime area of 2,496 square feet. Comprising of two bedrooms, three full and one half bathrooms, the single family-residence has light hardwood floors and drywall ceilings with French doors and windows.
Living spaces of the house include a formal living room, a dining space, a bonus room, a media room and an office or study.
Outside, the house has a swamp-like pool and ample lounging areas. A sunken guest house is also a part of the property. There is a parking garage as well, which gives direct access into the house.
The listing described the home as:

Kattan featured on 'SNL' from 1996 to 2003. He shot to fame with his hilarious impersonations of several characters namely, Mango - the dancer, Azrael Abyss and Mr. Peepers.
