Celebrity Real Estate: Pitcher Chris Capuano Buys a Brand-New Home in Scottsdale

Pitcher Chris Capuano, a free agent, has bought recently a four-bedroom custom home for $1.7 million in Scottsdale, AZ. The home is located near the Chase Field, where Chris made his Major League debut in 2003 with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The left pitcher has spent 12 years continuously bouncing around the league, has pitched for six teams that included the Mets, and recently, the Yankees.

The brand-new, 6,133-square-foot home of the pitcher is set on 10 acres of land in the Sonoran desert, with unique architectural design and great views. The home features dark wooden logs that span across the ceilings throughout the home and adobe walls that flank red-tiled flooring in the entryway. The rooms are divided with stepped shelves and curved walls, creating plenty of space, as reported by Realtor.

The home has plenty of rooms to host the many friends of the pitcher that he's made during his tour of the league. The home has a secluded guest casita, a private place that has its own bedroom, living room, and greenhouse which is perfect for guest who wants some privacy.

This desert dig of Capuano has a modern outdoor space which includes a spa, barbecue, fireplace, and a large swimming pool, creating a relaxing environment for night swimming.

According to NJ, Capuano, now 37, has signed to a one-year, $5 million deal to be the Yankees' No. 5 starter. The move to the bullpen has allowed Capuano to work on some things that were perhaps out of sync after he came back from injury.

Yanks' bullpen coach Gary Tuck has been a huge help to him. "He's really good at helping you iron out your delivery," Capuano said. "Just to help you find the best one for yourself."

After many years of playing with the league, he's started 244 of the 283 games he's played, this is the point in his career that does him best.
