'American Horror Story' Spoiler: 'Murder House' Character Makes Comeback In 'Hotel' Finale

Which character from "Murder House" is paying the Cortez a visit? "American Horror Story" will be reprising a well-loved character in the upcoming season finale. Will it be Tate, Billie or Vivien?

According to a recent report by Entertainment Weekly, Sarah Paulson will make a comeback as psychic Billie Dean Howard. Loyal viewers will remember that in the first season of "AHS", Howard was a confidante of Jessica Lange's Constance. In the fifth season, the psychic will have her own reality series and will come to the Cortez to shoot an episode.

This also means that Paulson will be playing two different roles in "Hotel." Previously, she appeared on the show as the volatile, heroin-addicted Hypodermic Sally who haunts the hotel after being thrown from one of its windows in 1994.

There are speculations that a familial connection exists between Hypodermic Sally and Howard but "American Horror Story" has yet to confirm if the two are indeed related.

This is not the first time that "American Horror Story" pulled the same stint. Paulson's co-star Finn Wittrock has also been playing two different roles in the fifth season. He has been portraying both male model Tristan and film actor Rudolph Valentino. Although the two male characters are not related, The Countess noted their resemblance.

Moreover, it was already made clear that "Murder House" and "Hotel" existed in the same world. In Episode 6 of "Hotel", it was revealed that The Countess, played by Lady Gaga, had an illegal abortion at the murder house from Season 1.

Just like Evan Peters, Paulson has appeared in every season of "American Horror Story" so far. Recently, the actress made the headlines for her outstanding supporting performance as Abby Gerhard in Todd Haynes' Golden Globe-nominated movie "Carol." In the movie, she acted alongside Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" airs Wednesdays at 10 PM on FX.
