The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" latest paid DLC, entitled "Jack the Ripper," will be released Dec. 15 and will cost $14.99. Ubisoft, the game developer, also released a trailer to give fans the feeling of traveling back in time to hunt one of the most mysterious killers of all time.

The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Jack the Ripper" DLC is due to arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Dec. 15 while the PC version will have it on Dec. 22. Players will be using Evie Frye, one of the main protagonists in the game and will hunt down the famous "Jack the Ripper." The DLC is set 20 years after the main game had finished, as GameSpot reported.

Season Pass holders will also receive the game with no additional charges, plus, "The Last Maharaja" mission pack, "A Long Night" mission, "Streets of London "gameplay pack, two top-tier sets of gear and weapons, and an exclusive XP boost. All of these plus future paid DLC for $29.99.

Benjamin Dumaz, Lead Mission Designer of Ubisoft, stated in the PlayStation Blog, that the "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" team has spent more than a year in creating "Jack the Ripper" DLC. They are proud of what they have accomplished in the development of the game and are really looking forward to its release.

"Creating content around the notorious and illusive serial killer Jack the Ripper. His story is filled with blanks and rumours, which gave us the opportunity to create a fictional story around the infamous Whitechapel serial killer, inspired by what little is known about him," as Dumaz stated.

The "Jack the Ripper" DLC will not be an easy game, as "The Ripper" is also an assassin like Evie Frye, hence, is also highly skilled. The said expansion will also be having the new "Fear System," one has the option to scare the adversaries away or take advantage of the friendly fire option.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms.
