Connecticut Real Estate News: Hard Rock International Partners with Centerplan Companies to Develop Hard Rock Hotel Hartford

Hard Rock International has announced that it has established a partnership with Centerplan Companies to develop the Hard Rock Hotel Hartford in Connecticut Capital City's fast evolving Downtown North ("DoNo") neighborhood.

"We're very excited about this opportunity as it brings so much to an already great city," said Jason Rudnick, President of Centerplan Companies. "The glowing iconic guitar of the Hard Rock brand lighting up downtown Hartford will be a symbol to all residents and visitors that Connecticut's Capital City is a primary destination."

According to their press release in PR Newswire, the 170-room property set to open in 2018 will be featuring Hard Rock's exclusive features that include an up-to-date Hard Rock Cafe, Body Rock workout facility, Rock Spa featuring the brand's signature Rhythm & Motion spa menu, and a Rock Shop where fans will be able to buy the brand's iconic products. The new Hard Rock Hotel Hartford will also be offering its guests a lively rooftop pool and lounge overseeing the picturesque Downtown North and Hartford skylines.

"We're excited to bring the Hard Rock brand to New England in a city as welcoming as Hartford," said Marco Roca, executive vice president of global hotel development at Hard Rock International. "We look forward to being a part of Hartford's Downtown North evolution as one of the most exciting new neighborhoods in the region."

Guests of Hard Rock Hotel Hartford can also experience music-inclined amenities such as The Sound of Your Stay music program that allows guests to check out a Fender guitar for impromptu in-room jam sessions. The Hard Rock brand is well-known worldwide for producing more than 28,000 live music events every year, and Hard Rock Hotel Hartford will add to the live music experience, delighting guests with performances year-round.

"The collaboration with Hard Rock International is a transformative moment for the redevelopment of Downtown North and speaks to the strength and viability of the Hartford market," stated Robert Landino, CEO of Centerplan Companies, the developers of the Downtown North project. "The involvement of a world-class company like Hard Rock International is resounding evidence of the ability of Downtown North's redevelopment to attract and sustain long-term growth."
