Paint Your Interiors…? A Look Into 2015 Color Trends (PHOTOS)

More than half of 2014 has passed. Now that home decorators have exhausted using Pantone's "Radiant Orchid" - the color of 2014 - in several elements of interior design, we have compiled a list of shades that could be 2015's color of the year.

We sourced our list from House Beautiful's color trends, Pantone's 2015 trend preview and Dubai Chronicle's interior color predictions to pick out the top hues that could be crowned the color of 2015.

Check our list out below:

Two Shades of Blue

Mediterranean Blue and Seaport - these two shades of Blue are going to be totally in vogue in 2015. The color of all seasons brings in a sense of calm and peace. It is a versatile color that can fit in virtually any room of the house.

Retro Colors

Retro is going to be back with a bang - but was it ever out? Retro and vintage colors, like a burnt orange, a pale gold and a poodle pink, which Pantone calls "Rosette," will be all the rage in the 2015 home décor season.

Pastels

Pastel palettes are also going to be in in 2015. Shades of purple, palm greens and flamingo pinks will be used frequently. Pastels usually soften and set a relaxing, romantic mood. But experts say the pastels must be teamed with shocking neon colors to make an impact.

Neutrals

Any neutral color - be it a gray, a creme or a brown - will be a stylish option for interiors in 2015. Neutral colors are usually infused in the interiors to balance the environment of the home. Olive Green and soft gray are going to be the hottest neutrals the coming year as per Dubai Chronicle.

Bold Color Combinations

Bold has always been considered beautiful when it comes to interior design. A combination of Red dahlia to go with neutral off-whites, deep shades of gray combined with black and other citrus tones are highly recommended for 2015.
