CD Projekt RED has partnered with NexusMods team to come up with a special "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Holiday Outfit Mod Contest that is open to any "Witcher 3" fan around the globe.
Previously, CD Projekt RED has revealed their 2016 plans for its best-selling title "The Witcher 3" besides releasing two teaser screenshots from the world of their upcoming expansion "Blood and Wine." Adam Kicinski CEO of CD Projekt RED has reportedly said in a Polish show "Money" that the next year will be devoted to "The Witcher 3." But while the developers are already eyeing on many ideas for this title in 2016, that does not mean there isn't any more room for any year-end gigs for "Witcher 3."
That is why CD Projekt Red has a new, holiday-themed challenge for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." According to GameSpot, the prize for this newly launched contest is an awesome real-life sword. The contest should be a simple mission for any creative "Witcher" fan. The goal is to make a holiday-themed outfit or prop for any character and upload the creation to Nexus Mods adding the tag "Witcher Mod Contest." As part of the contest mechanics, participants are reminded to make the mod available under "file admin" then they should notify CD Projekt Red with their entry and a link to their creation using this form.
The contest is open to anybody 18 and above anywhere in the world. The deadline of submission is on Jan. 5, 2016, 4 p.m, CEST. Regarding the prize, according to the official "The Witcher" website, there will only be one winner who will get the "one-of-a-kind custom made Witcher sword." The website says, "Please check if we can send the prize to your country -- there might be some legal restrictions regarding sending sharp objects!"
