Swizz Beatz, the "Top Down" rapper, has reportedly sold his Pamona, New York, mansion he once shared with his ex-wife Mashonda Tifrere for a little under a million - $999,900.
Swizz Beatz and Mashonda called it quits on their marriage in 2010 after claiming years of irreconcilable differences. The couple went through a very public divorce amid rumors of Beatz cheating with now-wife Alicia Keys.
"Divorce is terrible for anyone, but when it's public, it's over the top," Mashonda explained in a previous interview with popeater.com (via Rollingout.com).
However, in 2005, when things were still rosy between the ex-spouses, they purchased the home for $2.7 million. Selling it at this price, the two have taken a terrible $1.7 million loss on the sale, reports The Real Estalker (via Variety).
Property records show that the house was listed on a conditional contract for an unknown price. It closed transaction in May, this year. Weichert Realtors was marketing the residence, while Mark One real estate assited the buyer.
The home sold for a great discount. Although listing photos show a shabby-looking mansion, a little renovation and decorating can make this a prized property.
The main residence has a glass and concrete façade. It spans an area of 14,109 square feet and has a total of 18 rooms. There are eight bedrooms and eight full bathrooms spread across three floors.
Set in a private location, the home boasts of high ceilings, light hardwood flooring and architectural staircases.
"Make this home your Castle ! A diamond in the rough for the discriminating buyer seeking privacy. Huge spaces abound in this truly unique property that boasts tennis & handball courts; Indoor racquet ball court; Outdoor swimming pool; Indoor lap pool ; Separate caretakers' quarters and Priceless Scenic Vistas," the listing description read.

While there is no intel on how the scanty amount will be divided between Mashonda and Beatz, we do know that the "Get Wild" hitmaker is expecting his second baby with wife Alicia Keys.
Keys posted a picture of her burgeoning baby bump on Instagram captioning it:
"Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz !!And to make it even sweeter we've been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here's to many many more years of the best parts of life!"
Currently, Keys and Beatz live in an Englewood, N.J., mansion they purchased from "The Nutty professor" actor Eddie Murphy for about $12 million in 2012.
