Faye Resnick, the decorator-author and ex cast member of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", has reportedly sold her Hollywood Hills home for $2.29 million.
The Real Estalker (via Variety) first broke news of the sale noting that Jake Huston, Angelica Huston's nephew, is the buyer. Citing trusted sources, the tabloid reveals that Huston bought the home under the name of an LLC that link back to him.
Resnick, who has done up homes of Paris Hilton and Kyle Richards, purchased the house in December 2012 for $1.6 million. She listed the residence for $2.45 million in February, this year, and took it off in April. Public records indicate that the home sold in an off-market transaction because it was never listed again.
The house is located in a private neighborhood of Hollywood hills and covers an area of about 2,567 square feet. It is a gated property, lined with trees.
The house was built in 1948 and comprises of three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The house has a cozy fireplace in the living area, upstairs. It also boasts of a state-of-the-art central kitchen.
The master bedroom is situated on the upper level and features limestone flooring. The lower level consists of a family room that is lined by two guest bedrooms. The room opens up to a veranda overlooking a "kidney-bean" shaped pool.
The house also has a dappled exterior barbecue kitchen and a small motor court. It has a detached garage that can accommodate two cars. Behind the garage there is an isolated area that can be used for meditation or to have a quiet time.
Mauricio Umansky of The Agency was marketing the property.
Resnick generally has a liking for deep, brooding colors and when she bought the residence, we expected her to do it up in her style. However, the only thing dark about the house was its dark hardwood flooring.
The residence has an airy, cheerful feel about it. Take a look at the photo of the house here.
