Catharine Zeta Jones, the "Mask of Zorro" actress, has reportedly listed the Bedford, New York, country residence that she lived in when she separated from husband Michael Douglas.
Jones and Douglas announced they were separating in August 2013.
"Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage. There will be no further comment," a representative of the couple told the media at that time.
An insider source also told People Magazine that Douglas' tongue cancer diagnosis and Jones' Bipolar disease took a toll on their marriage.
But now that the couple is living together again in their New York City apartment, Jones wants to do away with the bitter memories of the separation.
Property records show that Jones purchased the home in 2010 for $5.07 million. This is the first time the residence is being offered for sale since then. Craig Siano of Siano & Company is the listing agent.
The country spread is a 6,600-square-foot, single-family, traditional house that has six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Interiors of the residence feature dark hardwood flooring, drywall ceilings and french doors and windows.
The two-storey residence has a main drawing area, an eat-in modern kitchen, a dining room and other spacious livings paces.
There is a study and a theater. The house also has a sauna and gym. The master suite upstairs has a huge en-suite bath with a soaking tub and a large walk-in closet as well.
Outside, the home is surrounded by greens. There are ample recreation areas with a pool in the backyard and a detached two-car parking garage. A separate one-bed guest house also exists on the property.
The listing describes the home as:
