Jonah Hill, the chubby actor who shot to fame with his roles in "22 Jump Street" and "Wolf of Wall Street", has reportedly listed his swanky pad in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City for $3.79 million.
Hill purchased the home for $2.64 million two years ago, the New York Daily News reports. But now that his fame is getting him better roles, Hill probably wants to upgrade to a better place.
Since Hill is worth $30 million, he can definitely afford a better place in the Big Apple. But, it is still uncertain if he has picked up a new residence elsewhere.
The residence that Hill just listed is a swanky bachelor pad which can be easily renovated for a small family. Spanning the entire second floor of the 27 Howard Street Co-op building, the residence offers 2,000 square feet of living space.
When Hill bought the space, the house had two bedrooms. But, current floor plans at Streeteasy show that the home has one large bedroom.
The entry of the residence opens into a large mixed-concept living plus dining area which takes up almost the entire expanse of the residence.
There is an eat-in kitchen to the right of the entrance and a study to the left. Right beside the kitchen is the bedroom with its en-suite master bath and an adjacent "sleep area", which is probably the second bedroom.
Interiors of the house feature hardwood flooring throughout with large glass doors and windows and high, 13-foot ceilings and exposed-brick walls.
Jared Seligman of Douglas Elliman is the listing agent. The listing description of the home reads:
"Rare and Authentic 2,000 sqft. full-floor loft with over 13 foot ceilings located on the cross section where Howard meets Crosby Street. The grand scaled proportions are highlighted by the picturesque and striking open views overlooking Crosby Street through its enormous windows."
"Located on the second floor of a very desirable boutique Cast Iron loft building, this property is steps from the finest Stores, Restaurants and Galleries," it adds.
The home is being showed on an appointments-only basis. Check out more photos of the home here.
Hill also owns another home in West Hollywood. Both his residences have been purchased under a trust of which his father acts as a trustee.
While the enthusiastic sidekick of "The Wolf of Wall Street" has just listed his home, the "Wolf" Leonardo DiCaprio recently picked up a posh Greenwich Village condo with "vitamin showers" and all for $10 million.
As for the penthouse featured on the "Wolf of Wall Street", that is no longer on the market as of four months. It was listed for $6.49 million.
