The monster called David and Yolanda Foster's divorce is rearing its ugly head! David is not just convinced that his ex-wife is faking her illness. He is now demanding a refund for the money he spent on her expensive Lyme disease treatments.
An insider told Radar Online that Yolanda's medical bills have turned out to be the latest sticking point as the former couple's lawyers are attempting to reach a settlement that will allow the two to file for divorce. The said "proposed agreement" will be submitted to the judge together with David and Yolanda's divorce papers.
According to the insider, David has "spent a fortune on medical treatments for Yolanda's Lyme disease that weren't covered by medical insurance. As the expensive alternative medical treatments progressed and David wasn't seeing her get any better, he urged Yolanda to stop going overseas."
Yolanda refused and as a result, David was stuck paying the extravagant bills. Now that his record label is shutting down, "he needs that money."
However, David Foster and his legal counsel might be facing a major road bump. The source said that Yolanda "is disgusted that David is asking for that money and has instructed her lawyer to not even entertain it as a part of the settlement."
In the meantime, the source revealed that Yolanda's ex-husband Mohammad Hadid has been paying all of her bills including her health advocate who is paid "nearly $8,000" a month.
According to a separate report, Yolanda lives off only from the money she gets from Hadid. "...he is no longer obligated to give her any support. Out of the goodness of Mohammad's heart, he is helping out the mother of his three children," another source said.
Despite the condition of her health, Yolanda vows to overcome Lyme disease as soon as possible so she will be able to sustain herself after the divorce.
