'Sisters' Starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Hit Theaters Next Week; Can the Movie Survive 'Star Wars'?

Two of the talented comediennes Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are once again teamed up for another funny movie which will be initially released on the 18th of December. Released by UniversalPictures, the movie was written by veteran 'SNL' comedy writer Paula Pell. The two actress's last team up in a movie was in 'Baby Mama,' which is a story about motherhood with a modern day twist.

In 'Sisters,' these two talented ladies plays the role of Kate (Fey) and Maura (Poehler) as siblings who even in their differences in character are still extremely close. After their parents informed them that their house is being sold. The two decided to fly back to Orlando to change their minds, but when they went there, the house already had a 'sold' sign and has been cleaned out except for their bedroom.

The two went ahead to clear out the room but then going through all those of their old possession made them nostalgic of their younger days. Later on they decided to throw a party for one last time in the house they grew up in. The rest of the story will be left up to those who will watch the film.

This film will surely give you a good laugh. Other cast members of the film includes Maya Rudolph, James Brolin, Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, John Cena and Dianne Wiest. Directed by Jason Moore and produced by Amy Poehler, Brian Bel and Jeff Richmond.

According to The Guardian, this may seem like a brave move for Tina and Amy since the release of their movie will be in competition to the release of 'The Force Awakens,' another sequel to the Star Wars saga, yet to those who are not much into Jedis and light-saber fights. You have the 'Sisters' to watch and enjoy the comedic stint of these two and a whole lot more.
