Netflix finally pin points the premier date of the hit series "House of Cards" Season 4. The official House of Cards twitter account posted a message which sparked a huge commotion among its followers.
"BREAKING NEWS: President Underwood will be making a special announcement tonight during the #GOPDebate," "House of Cards" tweeted last Tuesday, December 15.
In one of the commercials in the GOP debate, Kevin Spacey appeared on a short clip informing the fans that the next season of "House of Cards" will have a premiere very soon but not really disclosing its date.
In their twitter account, the "House of Cards" Season 4 premiere date was announced as posted on a promotional picture with President Underwood. The new season will premiere March 4, 2016. In the same tweet, the they wrote their promotional hashtag, #FU2016.
Netflix did the same thing with "House of Cards" Season 3, announcing its premiere date via twitter post.
Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, main actors of the hit series, have won Golden Globe Awards for their roles. Even the director of the series, David Fincher, bagged himself an Emmy for directing the whole production to the success that it has become today.
The previous season, Season 3, has had a problem of keeping the details away from the public due to a leak of the episodes a few weeks earlier than the premiere date.
After taking down the leaked videos for season 3, the producers made a statement saying, "Due to a technical glitch some Frank Underwood fans got a sneak peek. He'll be back on Netflix on Feb. 27."
This year, the producers made sure that details to the fourth seasons turn of events will only be available to the public on the premiere date.
The only thing that fans know about the next season is that "Party of Five" star Neve Campbell will be part of the cast and that it will be another blockbuster series.
