Danielle Steel, the bestselling author famous for her romance novels, has reportedly listed a home in Stinson beach, Calif. for sale asking $8.99 million.
The cape-cod style house, located on a private stretch called "Seadrift" on Stinson Beach, is a 3,425-square-foot single-family residence sitting on a 0.66-acre lot.
Public records show that Steel purchased the lot in 1997 for $500,000. According to SFGate.com, the author built the residence in 2000 and is now seeking to sell it for a humongous profit.
Lotte and Sarah of McGuire Real Estate are the listing agents. The property offers "luxurious oceanfront living in Seadrift" and "exquisite views", according to the description.
Photos show a gravel entryway opening into the property. One is welcomed by aluminum animal structures - penguins, giraffes and even a kangaroo - sitting in the lush flower garden.
The entrance leads into a narrow hallway that opens up into the living room, Interiors feature light hardwood flooring, high ceilings and large glass doors and windows.
There is a sitting room and a dining area. A modern eat-in kitchen with a wooden mid-rise island is also a part of the house. The bedrooms offer large closets and ensuite baths.
Outside, the home has multiple open decks where one can easily soak up the sun. There is a barbecue area and laundry in the house as well.

Steele is selling probably because she is spending a lot of time in Paris. The "44 Charles Street" author recently opened up about her new-found (or not) love for France.
"The French don't really exercise and I'm originally French. I used to ride horses and ice skate as a child, but I would rather die than exercise today. I smoke, I drink and while I have a trainer, I avoid her by all means necessary. People in California always want to know about your workout program; I don't really know what to tell them," she told The Wall Street Journal.
