Quentin Richardson, the former shooting guard for NBA team Los Angeles Clippers, has reportedly found a buyer for his home in Palos Heights, Ill., that he listed earlier this month for $1.1 million.
The Chicago Tribune broke news of the listing noting that Vergis Eiland of Coldwell Banker real estate is the listing agent. Richardson purchased the property in 2006 for $2.2 million when he was still with the Clippers. He bought the home from lottery winner who purchased the residence in 2001 for a little more than $2 million.
And now, the listing has already got a "contingent sale pending" sign on it, which means the sellers have accepted an offer on certain conditions.
The home went pretty quick and why not. For $1.1 million, the residence is a catch.
Spanning an area 10,900 square feet, the house is comprised of five bedrooms, six full and two half bathrooms.
Interiors of the recently remodeled home feature hardwood stone-tiled and carpeted flooring along with large glass windows and wooden doors.
The home is stacked with luxury amenities like an indoor pool, a game room, a screening room, a recreation area, a modern kitchen with a mid-rise island and custom cabinetry, a basement with a fireplace and study. There is a covered porch that opens to the outdoors.
Outside, the home has a three-car parking garage and a servant's quarter.
The listing describes the home as a "Hamptons-like" home. Take a look at the photos of the house here before they vanish.
Richardson played 13 seasons in the NBA with four different teams and was named the NBA Three-Point Shootout champion in 2005 when with the Clippers.
Now, Richardson serves as the director of player development for the Detroit Pistons. He was hired in August, this year, along with two more NBA players including Tim Hardaway.
"I'm ecstatic," Hardaway told the Miami Herald. "It's something I wanted to do. It's all about teaching. I'm good at teaching and understanding players. Stan and I have great rapport. Pat Riley said it's a great thing for me and he's happy for me."
