In 2011, Adele released her single "Someone Like You" which would then become a mega hit and an anthem for people who have gone through a difficult relationship.
According to the Daily Mail, Adele disclosed that she no longer sings "Someone Like You" the way she used to before. The Grammy Awards winner, who performed in front of a New York City crowd for her "Adele: Live in New York City," revealed that she has never been happy with her life now that she has her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, and son Angelo with her. These men in her life, particularly Konecki, changed the meaning of the 2011 single for her.
"I don't sing this from the same place anymore," Adele said about the hit song while taping her concert in NYC on Monday, Dec. 14.
"This is the first show he's seen me do," the 27-year-old singer said. "I love you, and I'm so glad you're here." Adele even stated that now that she is in a happy relationship with the 41-year-old businessman, she can start writing about love making, reported Hollywood Take.
The singer-songwriter also mentioned about her break from the industry when she had her son, Angelo, thanking her fans for their patience as she took some time off to focus on mommy duties. Adele recently said that having a baby makes it so much harder for her to write because all she ever wants to do now is be with her son.
Nevertheless, Adele is back with her new album "25" which includes the new hit single "Hello," which has already broken so many records since its release. Apart from her music career, Adele might also be seen on the big screen soon with the Kit Harington starrer "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan," which will be directed by Xavier Dolan.
