UFC superstar Ronda Rousey became more famous for her big wins and her outspoken public persona even with her recent loss. Rousey has also been dating fellow fighter Travis Browne since last summer.
Rousey's current partner had a troubled past and was accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife, Jenna Renee Webb, who showed her bruises on her Instagram post. It resulted to a suspension of Browne by UFC while they investigated the claims. In the investigation, it revealed that "there was inconclusive evidence to support claims of alleged domestic violence."
Rousey was reportedly told by Travis that he'd understand if she wanted to break up with him, but Rousey decided to trust Travis.
"It's hard, it's really hard. I'm very anti-domestic violence," Rousey stated, as quoted by the New York Post news. "But I know that he didn't do anything. Now I'm put in this situation where I'm finally happy with somebody that respects me and cares about me, and I'm like, 'What do I do?' "
The recent profile picture of Rousey showed that the couple traveled around Texas and slept in the back of a pick up truck.
As Ronda Rousey is one of the most dominant and popular athletes in the world, it's not easy for her to keep her personal life out of the spotlight. And it's getting more difficult when her boyfriend announces to the world details of their relationship, which is exactly what Travis Browne did during the lead-up to UFC193.
"She's my woman, and I'm her man," Travis stated in an interview, as quoted by Heavy news. "There's no boyfriend-girlfriend stuff. There's no dating. We're together."
When Rousey was asked in a media conference call about her relationship with Browne in October, she confirmed it. She said she doesn't talk about her personal life much, that's why it is called personal life. Rousey also said that it's true that she and Travis are in a relationship. She has really enjoyed the time they have spent together and getting to know each other.
