Jose Calderon, the point guard for NBA team New York Knicks, has reportedly put his Dallas home on the market for $2.47 million.
Property records of the residence show that Calderon purchased the place in 2013 when he was with the Dallas Mavericks. In July that year, Calderon signed a four-year $28 million deal with the team; but in June 2014, he was traded to the Knicks along with Shane Larkin, Samuel Dalembert and Wayne Ellington in exchange for Raymond Felton and Tyson Chandler.
Now that Calderon is moving to the Big Apple, he has decided to flip his Dallas house. Briggs Freeman of Sotheby's International Realty is representing the home, according to Candy'sDirt.com.
Listing records of the home reveal that the residence is a 6,389-square-foot single-family house, comprising of five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
Interiors of the residence show beautiful hardwood floors, large glass doors and windows and high drywall ceilings.
Encompassed in a spacious floor plan is a formal living room, a dining area, a study, a modern kitchen with custom cabinetry and a large mid-rise island. The master suite has a luxury en-suite bathrooms and large closets. A media room and a game room are also part of the property. There is a covered porch that leads outside to a grassy yard.
The listing describes the place as a "stunning University Park home" that has "large rooms and an abundance of natural light, this home is perfect for entertaining".
"This home is in exquisite condition," it adds.

Calderon started off his NBA career with the Toronto raptors in 2005. Before joining the NBA, he played in the Euroleague. In the NBA he has played nine seasons and his trade off to the Knicks has gotten positive reviews from experts.
"Calderon is an upgrade for the Knicks as a floor general and a shooter. His veteran experience and offensive talent will be a huge improvement for a team that struggled to pass and shoot effectively," Matt Constas writes for RantSports.com.
"His role expands far beyond the court where he will also help improve team chemistry, and if he buys in to the system, he will look to help bring some of his talented friends to the Big Apple. Do not underestimate the role that Calderon will play next season with this team."
