Tech News: Japanese Company Creates Water-resistant Smartphone, Says Perfect for Parents with Kids

Yes, there are already smart phones that are known to be water-resistant, and they are already out in the market. Yet water resistant phones can only take water from the outside but water proof means they can be submerged. How about this? A phone that can, not only be submerged, but can also be washed with soap and water!

You've read it right! If you do not know it yet, your phone is dirtier than your toilet. That is because your hand has held so many different things in one day and bacteria is being passed on one thing to the next. Other people may also may have their hands on your phone. Parents of toddlers lower than the age of two usually the victim of having dirty smart phones. Not only that, toddlers not only tend to play around with mom or dad's phone but they may also drop the phone in watery places like the toilet and sink, not just the floor.

In connection with this concern, a company form Kyoto Japan named Kyocera, has already shown to the public their very own product of a smart phone that can totally be submerged in water, the Digno Rafre.

Digno Rafre is a smartphone with 5.00-inch 720x1280 display, a 2GB RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Its battery could last for 20 hours. Other features is its WiMax and 4G LTE. Shopping for it is not a bore as you can choose from among the colors of Cashmere White, Navy Blue and Coral Pink

The device has just been released in Japan on Dec. 11, 2015. Target market for this device are parents who can't keep their phones away from their kids. You've got to believe it's also shock proof. Better watch out for the release of this phone in the US.
