Mario Chalmer Selling Miami Condo He Bought from Drake for $4 Million

Mario Chalmer, the point guard for NBA team Miami Heat, has reportedly listed his home in Biscayne Bay, Fla., for $4 million. This is the same house that he purchased from rapper Drake in 2012.

Chalmer's swanky condo is being marketed by Tomi Rose of Opulence International Realty LLC. The Wall Street Journal broke news of the listing, which also quotes agent Rose saying that the home has been "competitively priced."

Chalmer had paid $2.4 million for the 5,475-square-foot condo two years ago, but it wasn't that big when Drake bought it. The "Forever" hitmaker bought two units on the floor and broke down a wall to combine the two residences.

The unfurnished home appeared on Drake's song "I'm On One" as well.

Sitting on the 49th floor of the Marquis Residences - a 67-storey residential high rise - the duplex condo has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. As you can see in the video above, it has floor-to-ceiling glass windows and marble and stone-tiled flooring along with soaring ceilings.

There is a formal living area, a game room, a wet bar and open balcony that offers beautiful views of the bay area. The home provides for a 4-car parking space in the building.

Chalmers was drafted to the NBA in 2008 by the Minnesota Timberwolves and was traded to the Miami Heat that year. He has been playing for the team since then. Chalmers is a two-time NBA Champion. However, his six-year career with heat has been inconsistent.

Word has it that Chalmers will be seeing a minute-increase this coming season, especially with LeBron James's departure.
